We’ve have long been engaged with central government during the evolution of the ‘Smarter Working’ initiative over many years. Our work with the DfE and the Agile Working programme earned us, as a project team, an award for leading the field in workplace change and delivering on a national scale, including regional offices, not just the London HQ footprint.
Having helped shape the Smarter Working guidelines, we implemented a design that showcased best practice based on standards for spaces; what they look like, and the experience we wanted staff to have: workplaces that are a great place to work.
Well designed and functional work environments are fundamental to providing a variety and flexibility that enables our people to work in different ways in different locations.
The materiality expresses human nature and confidence, key components of the Conferma voice where everyone matters, bringing energy and a collaborative superpower to everything they do. The spaces have been arranged and designed to have a connecting flow, encouraging movement and cross-team interactions, layered throughout with natural tones and indoor-outdoor elements.
Through people-first design we seek to boost wellbeing and productivity; enable smarter ways of working and provide an excellent workplace experience.
